Preparing for Your Notary Appointment

However, we understand that it’s not everyday that you have a need for professional services for documents and we have provided several tips and resources below to make the best use of the services from Certified Signatures.

For Your Meeting

• Please arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment
time.

• Have all documents complete and ready for signature.

• Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

• Consult with an attorney to determine if signature
witnesses are needed. If yes, bring witnesses with you.

Items You’ll Need To Bring When Meeting Your Mobile Notary:

• Document which requires notarization

• Identification – Remember, you must bring a form of valid
identification when meeting a mobile notary. Forms of valid
identification may include driver’s license, state-issued ID card,
passport and military card.

• Cash or mobile payment method – acceptable payment
methods are cash, cashapp, venmo or Zelle. Credit cards are not
accepted at this time. Personal checks are not accepted.

• Black or blue-ink pen (optional)

Items You’ll Need To Bring When Meeting Your Loan Signing Agent:

• Loan Package – If sent directly to you from the Lender

• Identification for each borrower – Forms of valid identification may include driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport and military card.

• Income Verification – W2, SSI, Award Letters or Unemployment Statements

• Bank Statements – 2 months’ worth

• Tax Returns – Most recent two filed returns

• Mortgage Statement & Insurance – Most recent copy
